The last two years have been pretty difficult for everyone, but it’s been wonderful to travel around Sussex and see so many green shoots both literally and figuratively. I am sure many businesses have a difficult road to recovery ahead but I have met so many people who have expressed a renewed love of and interest in Sussex. Whether you live here or are a visitor, it is a great destination with fantastic landscapes, a rich and diverse history, and amazing local producers, artisans, and businesses! It’s an absolute delight to be able to explore and discover Sussex and then share what the team and I find.

Eat, drink and explore
The Sussex wine scene is going from strength to strength at the moment and our local vineyards make great destinations for a day out (or a weekend). To help you tackle the 70 plus vineyards in our area, in this edition we’ve got the first in a series of vineyard itineraries for you, starting in West Sussex and taking in some of our historic towns. We’ve also got some suggestions for things to do in Sussex, like exploring the Steyning Art Trail, getting up with the larks to see the sunrise at Pulborough Brooks Nature Reserve, discovering Rye, or spending idyllic Sundays on the beach, enjoying afternoon tea or foraging in antique shops. If you’re more of a stay-at-home, cerebral type, we also have some Sussex folklore and a great Easter recipe to soak up all those local wines, or just book yourself into a Sussex writing retreat and get that novel written and published.
We’ve also got tax advice, fashion trends, and some quirky dates for your diary, as well as a trip further afield to discover the Armagnac region of France.
