Another week has flown by, and it is hard to believe we’re nearly at the turning point of the year, the Summer Solstice. I tend to spend the occasion on the Downs, and this year will be no exception. What a special place to watch the day stretch on from.
Or, perhaps you could combine the longest day with exploring some of Seaford and Seaford Head’s hidden secrets? After all, who doesn’t love dragon’s teeth and secret tunnels?
For the gourmands, there are a few big farmers’ markets coming up in the next week or so, courtesy of the Sussex Peasant and Geoff Stonebanks of the NGS has a selection of wonderful NGS gardens for you.
In other news, we have a few tips and soundbites for anyone struggling with the demands of being in the Sandwich Generation and as always, don’t forget to check out our What’s On and our Magazine for lots more ideas and inspiration.
That’s it for now. Keep cool and have a good one.
