Walks, trees, a king & 2 queens, beer & Sussex Day

It’s been another weird and wild week: torrential rain, bursts of sun and all sorts of random discoveries.

It all started with a trip to Westmeston to walk up and around the V of trees (which I know from social media is very popular). It turns out there is a lot more to Westmeston than meets the eye  – think Saxon kings, Danish queens, Queen Victoria and Normans!

As Seaford is our Town of the Month, that felt like a good excuse to head that way for a bimble. There are so many good walks to explore – it may take all month.

And of course, we cannot forget that the forthcoming week holds two big days: Sussex Day – huzzah and Beer Day Britain (huzzah again). What a great excuse to do something really Sussexy (which may well include drinking beer).

Meanwhile, Michelle has some great advice on how and why not to let AI ruin your brand, and I have included our round-up of things to do in June.

That’s it for now, happy Sussex Day!
