Discover, explore and savour the best of Sussex

The Grumpy Chef, Worthing Museum, a walk & old crocks!

Welcome to the weekend and this week’s Sussex snippets.

Wow, what a week! I don’t know about you but I have been drenched numerous times and buffeted by the wind. I’m no fair-weather walker but even I had to admit defeat on Tuesday and abandon a trip.

But, there is still lots to celebrate in Sussex. In the first post this month about Worthing (our town of the month), I headed to Worthing Museum which is an absolute gem with lots to see and learn.  Eating also features high on my agenda when the weather gets wet so I tried (and thoroughly enjoyed) a Pitts-Stop at The Grumpy Chef in Seaford.

For those brave enough to venture out this weekend, how about a gorgeous walk from Fittleworth to Stopham in West Sussex? And let’s not forget that this weekend is the London to Brighton Veteran Car Rally … so check out the best places to watch it (and maybe see you there).

In other news, our Bubbles and Botanicals sparkling wine and craft gin event is fast approaching, so if you haven’t got tickets yet, here’s the link. It’s going to be a lovely afternoon!

And if you haven’t had a peek at the latest issue of  our magazine yet, here it is:

That’s it for now, have a great (and hopefully dry) weekend,
