Discover, explore and savour the best of Sussex

Exploring Worthing, walking Seven Sisters, Christmas markets & a tasty recipe

Welcome to this week’s newsletter full of all things Sussex.

Well, that was certainly a very soggy week! I hope you stayed safe and dry.

I’ve been out and about in my ark and headed back to Worthing to carry on exploring. It’s such an interesting town with lots going on, so do check out the Things To Do in Worthing feature.

I also set off on a rather ambitious walk along the Seven Sisters and back via Friston Forest. As walks go it was challenging but absolutely stunning and I can’t wait to return.

It definitely feels like people want to shop locally this Christmas and so I’ve been compiling a list of Sussex Christmas markets … we’ve got 21 so far but we’re adding to it all the time.

And if cooking (or eating) is your thing, do have a look at our latest recipe courtesy of The Horsham Gingerbread Bakehouse. It’s easy to make and super tasty!

Finally, this weekend is of course the Bubbles and Botanicals Fair at South Lodge in West Sussex and a chance to meet 15 local producers, and try and buy a fabulous selection of local wine and craft gin. Do come along and join us for a glass of complimentary fizz! You can find all the details here Bubbles and Botanicals

That’s it. Hope to see you tomorrow but have a great weekend.
