Helping with the grape harvest, pumpkins, a walk & a Pitts-Stop!

Welcome to Friday and your Sussex soundbite

Brrr, who turned the temperature down? There was ice on my roof this morning and it’s definitely time for thick jumpers and woolly socks!

But I know, like me, lots of you love this time of year and there are plenty of great things to do to help you take advantage of the crisp, fresh mornings and autumn colours. I started the week with a fabulous Cuckfield walk that had some beautiful views (and happened to go via a vineyard although I promise, I didn’t plan that). I also stopped off at The Barn Project near Slinfold. It makes a great Pitts-Stop for the hungry traveller.

Yesterday, I headed down to Tinwood vineyard for their wine harvest experience. It was a fabulous day of picking, tasting and making new friends and I learnt so much!

I know it feels early but Halloween and pumpkin season are nearly upon us and PYO pumpkin picking gets underway soon, so I have included a round-up of PYO farms.

Finally, and on a practical note, our health expert has shared some valuable help and advice for anyone who suffers from migraines.

That’s it for now. Don’t forget to book your tickets to our Bubbles and Botanicals sparkling wine event soon, and before the early bird offer expires.

Have a great weekend,

Lucy
